Grand Global Hotel - Kampala

Located close to Makere University, this hotel is a perfect spot for those who are attending meetings or events there. Though it can be difficult to find taxis, their in-house taxi service is a great advantage. Their breakfast options are great and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and always available to assist. the rooms have lovely views, great air circulation, and are equipped with mosquito nets to ensure a comfortable sleep.

The hotel rooms may require some renovation to improve the overall quality of the rooms.

Quick access to Gaddafi National Mosque. We liked rooms and staff, no complains at all. We could easily park on site. Location, a short walk to all attractions.

During my Easter break, I stayed at a hotel located near a prestigious university, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring the campus. The hotel had a helpful and friendly team of drivers who offered transfer services, and the food offered at the hotel was a standout, with a variety of tasty options available.

The room cleanliness fell short of expectations, with musty smells and stained linens. The hot water in the shower was often unreliable, and there were no mosquito nets available, leading to an unpleasant night's sleep.

The staff members were very friendly and helpful. We were able to easily organize transportation with the hotel drivers. The location of the hotel was convenient, as it was only a short walk from Makere University.

The overall cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired. I had to request for the sheets to be changed as they were stained.
